The Runners
Saucony made a four-minute film about runners and the people around them. Click and watch it - it’s powerful, emotive and rather brilliant. The whole thing feels like one continuous shot, moving between people and places without breaking stride. Over the top, you hear fragments of conversations, phone calls, and bits of real life. You only get snippets, but it’s enough to understand why each person runs. This is both original and technically excellent storytelling.
Most university content about community ends up as a montage, a series or a feed. This shows another option. Stick with a few people, and let their reasons come through in their own words. Follow them around campus in one shot if you like. If you’re going to talk about belonging, give it the time and craft to actually feel like a community they’re part of.
