Open Book

OpenAI wanted to understand how students are really using ChatGPT, so it asked them. Working with college students and AI educator Cat Goetze, the team gathered hundreds of genuine prompts before publishing the best 100 as a practical guide covering studying, careers and college life.

The interesting part is where it came from. Real student behaviour, not institutional assumptions. Universities don’t always need to invent best practice. Sometimes they just need to spot it, celebrate it and share it. And imagine how this could become part of future student insight, or even as an onboarding tool. Who’s going to publish their version and get it into the schools?
